James Nathaniel Ford II, 56 years old, of Westfield, Indiana went to be with his Lord on June 16, 2019. He was born January 4, 1963, in Philadelphia, PA to Bishop James N. Ford, Sr and the late Matriarch Lucille R. Ford.

He was a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University. In his professional career he worked for over 30 years in the Information Technology field. James was respected and admired by all his peers and employers for his technical proficiency and expertise. James was a source of inspiration to others for years which was evident in his many charitable endeavors. James was also a successful entrepreneur who founded multiple businesses. He began with a show promotion company, then went on to start Miccelli’s Italian Water Ice, becoming one of the first water ice vendors in the state of North Carolina. Most recently, he became a co-founder of Alluvia Technologies, a startup software company.

James was a life-long member of Taylor Tabernacle. He also attended Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Oak Ridge, NC and Eastern Star Baptist Church in Fishers, IN.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer Ford; children Tyler James Ford, NC, Jasmine Thomas Rainey (Anthony Rainey), NC, Cammy Lorraine Thomas (Jonny Perez), CA; his father James Ford, Sr, PA, his sister Lucinda Ford Hairston (Bruce Hairston, Sr.) TN, his brother Jonathan Ford (N’Jameh Ford), PA, and a host of loving uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends. James was preceded in death by his mother the late Lucille Ford.

James was affectionately referred to as “Jamie” by his family and close friends. He was a committed family man, compassionate and loyal. He was extremely outgoing and loving to all and will always be remembered for the unconditional and everlasting care he had for his family.

His family and friends will always remember Jamie as a strong Christian man with an incredible sense of humor. All who were touched by his life will truly miss him. On Sunday, June 16th, he heard the voice of the Savior and answered His call. He is now resting in the presence of the Lord.
