James Michael Newton

James Michael Newton, 60, unexpectedly passed away at his home in Indianapolis on August 15, 2022. Jim was born on August 31, 1961, and was preceded in death by his parents James Raymond and Rosemary Newton (Miller).

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Lori Newton (Newman), daughter Leslie Munas and son-in-law Charley Munas; brother Ron Newton, and sisters Debbie Cranfill, Susie Strong, Sherry Byrdwell, and Mary Eggers, along with several nieces and nephews.

Jim was a loving husband, father, and brother, and his family was everything to him. Jim was an excellent woodworker craftsman, an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, and loved his dogs. Jim was hardworking and faithfully employed by Vertiv since 1994.

A memorial visitation for Jim will be held Saturday, August 20^th, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. West Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana, with viewing at 11:00 am and services at 1:00 pm.
