James Michael Alexander "Alex" Douglas

James Michael Alexander “Alex” Douglas, 26, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on September 10, 2021. He was born on February 23, 1995 in Indianapolis to Norma Jean Willoughby Leverenz and James Michael Douglas.

Alex graduated from Lawrence North High School in 2013 and later went on to work as a driver for UPS. He was an adventurous spirit who had a passion for the great outdoors and spent much of this summer traveling and camping across the western united states. He loved the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle, but above all, he loved and cherished his family.

Alex is survived by his mother, Norma Leverenz; siblings, Lauren (Carey), Gabrielle (Ben), Jonathan and Madilyn; aunts, Carla (Mike) and Debbie Douglas; cousins, Tyler, Jessica, Ashley and Ann.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Indy Humane Society or to Holliday Park.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Holliday Park Nature Center, 6363 Spring Mill Road, Indianapolis, from 5:30PM-6:30PM with a celebration of life to begin at 6:30PM.
