James Malcolm "Jim" Edwards

James Malcom “Jim” Edwards 70 of Greencastle, Indiana passed away May 31, 2023. He was born on March 27, 1953, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late William Malcolm and Agnus Marie (Aidlotte) Edwards. Jim, as he was affectionately known, worked as a Delivery Driver for Ray’s Trash Service for many years prior to his retirement. He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corp. Jim enjoyed many of the simple things in life which included watching old western movies, old TV shows, enjoyed watching and going to NASCAR races and he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Diana M. (Baire) Edwards, whom he married on October 30, 1971, his children, Rhonda (Chris) Hess, James A. (Cassandra) Edwards, his grandchildren, Austin Lawton, William Edwards, Jacob Lawton, Brooklyn Edwards, Lacey Doan, Emma Hess, Paige Hess and his sister, Johnnie Johnson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, 5:00pm-8:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the funeral services on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, 11:00am. He will be laid to rest at West Ridge Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
