James Levan

James H. "Jim" LeVan 77, passed away March 30, 2012. He was born on November 10, 1934 in Chicago, Il to the late Harry and Henriette LeVan. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Marie LeVan; son, James Menard, fiancée, Loretta Williams and brother, Ronald (Grace) LeVan. Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Butts. Jim was in marketing for Kraft Foods, IGA Foods and the Oxford Chemical Company. Jim was a member of the Kosair Shriners. He enjoyed racquetball and golfing. He also flew the Ultralights airplanes. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Good Shepherd Chapel 9700 Allisonville Rd, with calling prior from 11:30 until time of service.
