James "Jimmy" Strahl

James "Jimmy" Allen Strahl, a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, peacefully passed away on December 3, 2023, in Greenfield, Indiana, at the age of 63. Born on June 29, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents Kenneth and Velma (Augustine) Strahl.

Jimmy graduated from Manuel High School, where he was a proud, valued member of the marching band. Jimmy was a talented musician, mastering most brass instruments, and when not playing in the band, skillfully maned the soundboard for performances.

He continued his education at ITT, graduating with an Associate's Degree. Jimmy went on to have a career installing windshields for Master Glass, and as a truck driver.

Despite the inherent challenges of life, James always remained resilient, showing unwavering strength and determination. For many years, he found joy in collecting model trains. He was passionate about RC Model Cars- racing, collecting, and building them.

Jimmy is survived by his brother Michael (Beverley) Strahl, sister Elizabeth Osterhoudt; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
