James -Jim- Hogue

With great sadness we convey the passing of James “Jim” A. Hogue on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Jim was born September 23, 1928 and served in the United States Army. He retired from Western Electric after 30 years.

He will be remembered fondly and missed dearly. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Anita (Williams)Hogue; his daughters, Loretta Farley (Mike) and Barbara Handlon (Garth), his son Gary Lyster (Marilyn); and his sister, Betty Hatfield. He was adored by his grandchildren, Scott Farley (Michelle), Laura Farley (Fiance Al Daoud), Sean Farley (Brittany), Jason Handlon (Lorraine), Nathan Handlon (Lisa), Hannah Mueller (Jason), Eddie Lyster (Robin), Jennifer Rittenberry (Tracy), and Jami Bufalari (John); 19 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park-9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
