James Hunter

James “Jim” Allison Hunter 87 of Speedway, IN died February03, 2016. Jim was born on July 03, 1928in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Edward Glenn and Lena Lucille (Castle) Hunter. Jim served our country in the United StatesNavy during WWII and was a life time member of the American Legion Post#500. He was a member of the KeystoneMasonic Lodge for 58 years and the Sahara Grotto. Jim was a brakeman on the railroad retiringfrom Conrail after 46 years of service. He was preceded in death by his brothers Billy and Edward Jr. Calling will be Monday February 08, 2016 atFlanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 11 to 2 pm followed by a funeral service at2 pm. Entombment will be in West RidgePark Cemetery. Jim is survived by hisloving wife A. Jean (Reemsnyder) Hunter who he married on March 18, 1949; theirchildren Dave (Brenda) Hunter and Julie Hunter Smith; and his beloved fourgrandchildren and great grandchildren.
