James H. Foltz

James H. Foltz 97 of Indianapolis died on September 13, 2012. Jim was born on August 19, 1915 in Indianapolis to Henry and Lenore (Holland) Foltz. Jim graduated from Assumption Grade School in 1929 and Cathedral High School in 1933 and the University of Notre Dame in 1937. Jim was a member of St Monica Catholic Church. He worked for 43 years for Westinghouse Supply Company. When he retired in 1980 he was an administrative manager for the company. Jim was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Marie (Shine) Foltz in June of 2000 and his sister Frances Catherine Foltz and brother Joseph Holland Foltz. Calling will be held on Tuesday September 18, 2012 at St Monica Catholic Church, 6131 N Michigan Road beginning at 10am followed by Funeral Mass at 11am. Jim is survived by his children Marylin (Chris Webber) Foltz, Stephen (Linda) Foltz, Margaret (Tim) Farrell and Joseph Foltz, his sister Margaret Rose Foltz and his beloved grandchildren Patrick Weber, Jon (Angie) Weber, Nicholas (Maureen) Weber, Monica (Jack) Parsons, Emily (Travis) Weis, Jason Dahlgren, Joseph Farrell, Sean (Deborah) Farrell, Melissa Shine, and Katie Foltz and six great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society. Burial will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North.
