James French

James French, age 79 of Indianapolis, Indiana went to his reward on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Jim was in the class of 1963 at Petersburg High School and joined the Militiary upon graduation. Jim was an Army veteran stationed in Germany for his tenure.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Helen.

Jim worked for Westinghouse and General Motors.

Jim loved going to church, and socializing.

He was a longtime member of the American Legion, Indianapolis Post 64 on Holt Road.

Jim is survived by his sister Betty, brother Ron (Jodi), nephew Mark and their families, as well as long time friend Mike Purichia.

Jim was a great friend to all, and will be sorely missed by his caregiver Daniel.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park Funeral Center, located at 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46222.

His funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM.

Entombment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
