Coomer, James Franklin
of Indianapolis, died August 23, 2012 at the age of 85. James retired from Chrysler after 36 years of service. He was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God where he served as an usher for over 40 years and was involved in Senior Activities including R.A.F.E.W. James was a lover of the outdoors enjoying fishing, boating, skiing, hunting, and gardening. But he mostly enjoyed his cherished time with his family who will greatly miss him.
James is survived by his son James Edward Coomer (Eilene); grandchildren James Michael Coomer (Jodi), Christina Kay Adair (Steve), Bryan Keith Coomer, Jacque Renee Hunt (Justin) and great-grandchildren Elizabeth Grace Adair and Ian Maddox Adair. James was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Margaret Coomer, as well as siblings John Coomer, Hazel Scott, Edna Bryant and Eva Barker. Friends may call from 11 am-2 pm on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Calvary Temple, 2901 North Post Road Indianapolis with a Service beginning at 2 PM. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
