James Elmer Barton

James E. Barton, 86 of Camby, IN passed away May 9, 2013. He was born April 15, 1927 in Coalmont, IN to Elmer and Helen Kennett Barton. James was a Veteran and proudly served his county in the US Navy. He was an employee of Beverage Paper Co., retiring in 1979. James is preceded in death by his parents and his son Michael Eugene Barton. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Barton, son James L. (Judy) Barton, daughter Anna Marie (Thomas) Pieczko, sister Imogene Dalton, stepchildren; Russell (Jenny) Rue, Lanny (Pam) Rue and Marietta Vail, 12 grandchildren, and many great and great great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 AM Wednesday, May 15 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur, Entombment with Military Honors to immediately follow at Floral Park Cemetery . Visitation will be Tuesday May 14 from 4-8 PM at the funeral center.
