James Edwin Hauk

James Edwin Hauk 80 of Indianapolis died June 14, 2015. Jim was born on October 08, 1934 in Indianapolis to Theron and Mary (Easterday) Hauk. Jim served our country in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a machinist for Allison a Division of General Motors at plant #5 and retired in 1984. Jim continued to serve our community with the Wayne Township fire Department where he became a Lieutenant at Company #10 and then went on to become an Assistant Fire Chief and then a Fire Chief with Wayne Township Fire Department. Jim was also appointed as an auxiliary policeman with the Clermont Police Department. He was a member of the Brownsburg American Legion Post #331. Calling will be held on Saturday June 20, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 10 am to 1 pm followed by a funeral service at 1 pm. Entombment will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
