James E. Belcher

James E. Belcher, 84 of Indianapolis passed away November 29, 2015. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Evelyn Ruth Belcher and sister Francis Polaski.

James served his country in the United States Army. Wounded in combat during the Korean War, he received the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He retired after almost 40 years as an electrician for IBEW 481.

Survivors include; Son, David A. (Rebecca) Belcher, daughter, Patricia Ann (Doug) Hardwick; 5 grandsons, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Visitation will be held at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46228 on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 5-7 PM.
