James David Spurr:
61, of Indianapolis, IN passed away February 04, 2013. He was born July 24, 1951 in Kentucky. James worked for IPL retiring after 34 years of service. He was a veteran and served in the Vietnam War. James was a hard-worker and very family oriented, he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife Donna Spurr and daughters Tracy Matthews, Amy and Sara Spurr. Mother Emma Spurr, Brothers Tommy (Carol) Spurr and Marsh Rogers, Sisters Mary Ann DeBruhl and Judy Rogers. Grandchildren Austin, Asia, Alexis, Dakota and Chase. Godsons Darrell James DeBruhl and Patrick James Spurr and best friends Bobby and Rene Kennedy, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his father Elmer and brother Elmer Lee Spurr. Visitation will be held 5-8pm Friday, February 8, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. A celebration of life service will be held at 12pm Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the funeral center. Burial will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery.
