James Stephen "Jim" Dailey, 62, of Zionsville, died January 27, 2012. Jim was born March 1, 1949 in Anderson, IN to William R. and Phyllis N. Corless Dailey; they preceded him in death. Mr. Dailey was a graduate of Alexandria, IN High School, the prestigious Rhode Island School of Photography, and faithfully served his country in the US Navy.
Jim had a successful career in graphic sales and was the former owner of Village Photo in Zionsville. He was a member of Zionsville United Methodist Church, and a former member of the Zionsville Rotary Club, and the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Dailey is survived by his wife, Nila Young Dailey; his son, Ryan James Dailey; his daughter, Gwen Marie Dailey; his brother, William R. Dailey (Connie); his sister, Sharon Fields (Keith); many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 am to 2 pm, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville with a service celebrating his life and faith beginning at 2 pm, Rev. Scott Tyring officiating. Burial with Naval honors will follow at Salem Cemetery, Zionsville.
Memorial contributions in his name may be given to the Zionsville United Methodist Church, PO Box 547, Zionsville, IN 46077 or to the American Cancer Society.
