James Crumlin

James Crumlin 88, Indianapolis, passed away December 15, 2011. James emigrated to the U.S. from Scotland in 1968. He worked as an engineer for the Buehler Corp. and Allison/Rolls Royce, retiring in 1989. James was a member of the Oakland Masonic Lodge #140, Exchange Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a long time member of the Maple Creek Country Club. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed swimming, tennis and as a young man, James cycled all over Scotland and England. James is survived by his children, Johan(Gordon)Gormal, Carole (Richard) Morrow, Denise (Robert) Griffin and Stephen James (Angela) Crumlin; grandchildren, Gregg (Kathleen) Gormal and Kevin (Christy) Gormal, Todd, Ryan, Alan and Eric Morrow,Tyler Griffin, James and Mary Grace Crumlin; great grandchildren, Parker and Kixton Gormal. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth May Crumlin; son, John Crumlin and parents, James and Mary (Dingwall) Crumlin. Services for James will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 19, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
