James Crumlin
88, Indianapolis, passed away December 15, 2011. James emigrated to the U.S. from Scotland in 1968. He worked as an engineer for the Buehler Corp. and Allison/Rolls Royce, retiring in 1989. James was a member of the Oakland Masonic Lodge #140, Exchange Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a long time member of the Maple Creek Country Club. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed swimming, tennis and as a young man, James cycled all over Scotland and England. James is survived by his children, Johan(Gordon)Gormal, Carole (Richard) Morrow, Denise (Robert) Griffin and Stephen James (Angela) Crumlin; grandchildren, Gregg (Kathleen) Gormal and Kevin (Christy) Gormal, Todd, Ryan, Alan and Eric Morrow,Tyler Griffin, James and Mary Grace Crumlin; great grandchildren, Parker and Kixton Gormal. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth May Crumlin; son, John Crumlin and parents, James and Mary (Dingwall) Crumlin. Services for James will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 19, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
