James Crouch

James G. Crouch 79, Indianapolis, passed away January 17, 2013. Jim was born in Birmingham, AL on February 15, 1933 to parents, Grady and Annie Claude (Stephens) Crouch. Jim earned his bachelor's degree from Auburn University, where he was an SEC Auburn Football Hall of Famer. He was also an avid golf enthusiast and member of the Mystic Tie Masonic Lodge. Jim was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, where he was active at the volunteer desk and enjoyed his work in their memorial garden. Jim was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather and "Tooth Ferry" and has been instrumental in many people's lives. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Elizabeth (Jennings) Crouch; children, Bill Crouch (Hera) and Haden Crouch Barber (Vance); and grandchildren: Cameron, Ashton, Alex and Ari. Jim was preceded in death by his son, James R. Crouch; two brothers, Bill and Charley Crouch and sister, Camille Brown. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis. Calling will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., with masonic services performed by the Mystic Lodge at 5 p.m. in Flanner and Buchanan- Broad Ripple.
