James "Buddy" Coop, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at his home on December 14, 2013 at the age of 75.
Buddy was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on March 18, 1938 to the late John and Ruthie Jane Coop (nee: Anderson). He was one of 25 children, 23 of which preceded him in death.
From racing cars to flying one of his airplanes, Buddy loved just about any form of motorized transportation. Many fond memories are based around taking off flying to a vacation in Florida or just a short fun trip to see the scenery. Even his occupation served to make others happy, as he took care of jukeboxes, pinball machines, etc.
Surviving is his dear wife of almost 57 years Ruby J. Coop (nee: Age); his children Sharon (Mark) Welsh, James (Betty) Coop, Kandie (John) Dinger, and Rickey (Catherine) Coop; a sister Annie Christie; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was a great man and will be missed by all who knew him.
