James Brian -Jd- Davis

The Rocketeer, a 1982 graphic novel created byartist Dave Stevens, inspired the life of James Brian "JD" Davis, whodied July 30, 2016.

Survived by wife, Kathy (Dix) Davis, and daughterKennedy, JD was born November 11, 1960 in Columbus, Indiana. Parents Sam and Carol preceded him in death.Siblings Ken (Cynthia) Heckman-Davis, Steve Davis and Ruth (Greg) Reed, nephewSean, and nieces Allison, Leigh Anne and Ann survive. Along with in laws Al(Linda) Dix, Gina Stephens, Jonathon (Lisa) Dix and favorite nephews Matthew,Noah, Lucas and niece Bristol.

JD's Rocketpack Productions was a videoproduction company with clients including the Indianapolis Motor Speedway,General Motors, Cummins Diesel and Allison Transmission, among others.
