James Ballard Underwood

James Ballard Underwood Left this world on July 10, 2011 to be with his Lord and his beloved wife, Ilse. He was born to James B. and Mollie Underwood on March 17, 1933 in Lenoir City, Tennessee. James was a radio maintenance engineer for Conrail Railroad retiring in 1995. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 49 years and is dancing with her again in heaven. James is survived by his sons, Michael (Kathryn) and Thomas; three grandchildren, Jason Underwood, Kristen Multhrup, Allysa Underwood and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday July 14, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Decatur Town ship . Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday July 15, 2011, also in the funeral center. Burial will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
