James Arthur Gundlach 81, Indianapolis, passed away July 19, 2011. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Marjorie Ann (Hanson) Gundlach; loving father to Bernie Gundlach, Teresa St. Laurent and Paul Gundlach; grandchildren, Andy and Brittany St. Laurent, Suzy Yates and Kyle Gundlach; great grandchildren, Addy and Tate St. Laurent and Levi Yates. Jim was employed as a tool and die maker at Western Electric for 33 years, retiring in 1992. He served his country in the USAF Reserves from 1948 to 1951. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and OASIS. Jim and Marge were avid square dancers and loved their travels to Texas for the winter. A Mass of Catholic Burial for Jim will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th Street, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 21 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Memorial Park.
