Jacqueline "Jackie" Walker

Jacqueline “Jackie” Walker, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend peacefully passed away on August 12th.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Bolton Underwood, brother Billy Underwood, and her beloved dog Sparky. She is survived by her devoted husband Roy; children Terry “Punkin” Deer (Kenny), Randy “Pasquale” Walker (Julie), Brian “Butch” Walker (Jenny); grandchildren AJ (Neala), Hayley (Brady), Madisson (Evan), Garrett (Francisco), Gage (Graceson); great grandchildren Harrison, Ayla, Phoenix, Winnie, Brooks; sisters Barbara Sering and Paula Carrico; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jackie had a zest for life, a natural talent for decorating and an exquisite eye for detail. Her home was a reflection of her warmth and creativity. She loved entertaining and took great joy in preparing delicious meals and creating memorable gatherings for family and friends. Her culinary skills were legendary, and she added her own unique touch to every dish.

Jackie loved traveling, camping, and shopping. She found solace in gardening, playing the piano and fashionable accessories. Her powerful whistle was the friends and family herding call from acres away.

One of Jackie’s favorite pastimes was watching Turner Classic Movies. She had great appreciation for classic films and enjoyed spending her evenings immersed in the golden era of cinema.

Above all, Jackie adored her family. She took immense pleasure in caring for and playing with her children and grandchildren. Her love and devotion for her family were unparalleled.

A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held from 1-4 PM on September 24th at The Garment Factory, 101 E Wayne St. Franklin, IN 46131.

In honor of her love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society.

Jackie Walker will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her passion for life, and her unwavering love for her family. Her presence made a difference in the lives of those around her and she will be deeply missed.

May her soul rest in peace and may her memory forever be a source of love, comfort and inspiration.
