Jack Howard Weston

Indianapolis, Indiana – Jack Howard Weston, 87, was reunited with his beloved Carol on July 9, 2025, their 65th wedding anniversary.

Jack was born July 1, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to parents Veston & Nannie (Anderson) Weston. He worked for over 27 years as a lab technician for Eli Lily and was a long-time member of both Lighthouse Baptist Church and Franklin Road Baptist Church.

Most importantly, Jack met the love of his life, Carol Mitchell. They were married on July 9, 1960, and remained faithfully together until her passing in 2022.

When not working, you could find Jack playing cards with his friends and family, working on the latest project around the house, or enjoying Siesta Key during the winter with Carol. A devoted Colts fan, he cheered them on through thick and thin across the years.

In addition to his parents and Carol, Jack is preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Rogers.

He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Harding (Bill), and grandchildren Michael Harding (Kim), Lindsay Harding (Nick), and Billy Sterrett (Jessica); great grandchildren Gavin, Penelope, Johnny, Arianna, Xavier, Faith, Xander, and Carson.

A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery (9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229) on August 11, 2025, at 2 pm.
