Jack Taylor

November 9, 1923 — April 19, 2015

Lt. Jack A. Taylor, USNR, Ret., 91, of Indianapolis, passed away April 19, 2015. He was born in Pike Township the son of Arthur Lyman and Reola (Sutton) Taylor. He was a Pilot in the United States Navy and retired from Eli Lilly Co. He was a graduate of Pike Township High School and was a Lifetime Member of the Speedway American Legion Post 500. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dorothy Stella Cannon Taylor in 2006. Jack is survived by his sons, Gary Joseph Taylor (Susan) and Scott Taylor (Marti) both of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Chrissy, Sarah and Melissa; great-grandchildren, Drew, Madison, Cooper, Amber, Karma, Nicholas and Turner. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville, 105 W. Pine St., Zionsville, IN 46077. There will be a graveside service 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 23, 2015 in the Great Hall Chapel at Washington Park North Cemetery, 2706 Kessler Blvd., West Drive, Indianapolis, IN.
