Jack Stevens Pritchard

Jack S. Pritchard passed away peacefully on August 30, 2021 at Indiana University Methodist Hospital, where he received excellent care.  He was 84. Jack was born in Beech Grove, IN to parents, Alma (Mankedick) and Arthur C. Pritchard.  He was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School in 1955 and attended Indiana Central College.  Jack worked at the post office before becoming self-employed, doing what he enjoyed – antiques and fine art.

Jack loved spending time with family and friends and seeing his grandchildren grow into wonderful adults. He thoroughly enjoyed traveling – especially to the ocean along the North Carolina coast. His hobbies included everything Chicago Bears and Walter Payton; bowling and golf.  He was very proud of his “800” in bowling and his “Lucky Hole-in-One”.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Robert Pritchard, Patricia Harkema and Dorothy Wear; and son, Robert Miller.

Jack is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Katrinka M. (Baker) Pritchard; son, Mike Miller (Deb); and daughters, Cindy Snopko (Mike); daughter-in-law, Julie Miller; grandchildren: Mike Miller, Nick Miller, Morgan Miller, Clarissa Snopko, Killian Snopko and RJ Miller; “brother” Bill Baker; “sister” Judy Scherschel; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Per his request, no visitation or service will be held.  Instead, do something special with those you love.
