Jack N. Robinson 95, Indianapolis passed away November 30, 2013 at his home. He was born March 27, 1918 in Centerton, IN to Charles Henry and Nellie J. Robinson. Jack was a member of Joy Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Washington High School. He worked for 34 years and retired in 1974 from International Harvester/Navistar. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War I Jack enjoyed farming, carpentry, watching animals (birds and squirrels) and neighbors walking by, playing euchre every week and being with family. Jack is survived by his children and husbands, Carol, (Norman) Haus, Jackie, (Paul) Chitwood, and Cindy, (Ron) Abner; 6 grandchildren, Tracy (Ken), Rex,(Carla), Kurt, Rusty (Dawn), Bobbie Jean, and Jack Allen; 13 great grandchildren, Eric, Stephanie, Mathew (Ashley), Caylee, Kristina, Brian, Ashli (Andrew), Austin, Abigail, Ali, Josie, Mitchel, and Garrett; 6 great-great grandchildren, Cortlynn, Dayton, Brody, KayDeigh, Myles, and Chase and other family members. He is now reunited in heaven with his loving wife of 53 years, Loretta (Covey) Robinson, who passed July 27, 1992 also his parents, and brothers, Lawrence, Cecil, James Arthur, and William. Dad will be missed by all. Services will be 2:00 P.M. December 3, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur, 5463 Kentucky Avenue. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 734 N. Morgantown Rd. Greenwood, IN.
