Jack L. Jacobia,
70, of Indianapolis, passed away November 26, 2013. He was born October 20, 1943 in Horton, Kansas to the late Glenn and Agnes Jacobia.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandy Jacobia; children: Karen Jacobia, Kathy Gumerson, Kristy (Douglas) Trumpey, and Lee Jacobia; 10 grandchildren, Jeffrey Sanford (Tiffany), Michael Sanford, Kassie Gumerson, Summer Jacobia, Cody Jacobia, Dillon Trumpey, Tyler Trumpey, Alexis Trumpey, Connor Jacobia and Caden Jacobia, 2 great grandchildren, Marley Cazee and Jedrek Sanford and 2 brothers, Jim (Carla) Jacobia from Wamego, KS and Delbert (Karen) Jacobia from Salina, KS and several nieces and nephews.
He was a photographer in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, retiring in 1981. He enjoyed cooking, inventing recipes, and computers.
He was a member of the American Legion.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street.
