Jack Leroy Jordan, born January 29, 1936, to Ira and Martha (Adalee) Jordan, passed away leaving behind a lifetime of memories filled with love, laughter, and devotion to family.
Jack attended George Washington High School, where he graduated in 1954. Following his education, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a postal worker, stationed in French Morocco during the Korean War. His time in the service reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment.
After returning home, Jack married the love of his life, Sandra Overman, in 1958. Together they built a life centered on family and shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. They had three wonderful sons, whom he was so proud of.
Jack was a man of many interests and hobbies. Whether it was collecting watches, exploring photography, or diving into his latest passion, he approached everything with curiosity and enthusiasm. If something sparked his interest, chances are he gave it a try. Above all, he was known for his warm personality, he always had a smile on his face and a joke ready to share, bringing joy to those around him.
He was a loving husband, a caring father, and a devoted grandfather. Jack was preceded in death by his three sons: Jeff Jordan, Gary Jordan, and Mark Jordan. The loss of his sons was something he carried deeply, and they remained forever in his heart.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Jordan; his sister, Betty Dunkel; his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Jordan; his grandchildren: Brittany Jordan, Amanda Jessup, Christina Parient (Tommy Hitchcock), Christopher Parient, Tiffany Jordan, Kristi Jordan, Blake Jordan, and Henry Jordan; and his great-grandchildren: Cheyanne Hitchcock, Violet Saenz, Michael Saenz, and Gabriel Saenz.
Jack will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, laughter, and family will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
