Jack Delhagen, 88, of Greenfield passed away on April 15, 2024. Jack was born to Samara Catherine (Collins) Delhagen and Isaac Delhagen. There were 20 children altogether in their family.
Jack married Barbara (Bledsoe) on June 9, 1956 in Greenfield, Indiana. They have three children; Rebecca "Becky" Baum, Charlotte "Ninny" Mahin (Norman), and Phillip "Flipper" Delhagen (Karen Santos). There are three granddaughters, "Papaw's Peaches": Brandi Delhagen, Renee Martinez (Leo), and Jackie Delhagen (deceased) and two great-grandsons: Zane Crotty and Lukas Martinez.
Jack is survived by two sisters: Joann "Edith" McClarnon, and Marilyn "Moody" (Delbert) Runyon.
Jack drove a semi for various companies for over 50 years. He knew every highway mile marker, exit number and truck stop on most all the major highways across the United States. He was the go-to person if anyone needed directions to most major cities across the states.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 1PM-3PM at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana 46229. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation starting at 3PM.
