Jack D. Bragg, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, at 82 years of age. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana K. Bragg (Melter). Jack is also survived by sons Todd A. Bragg (Frances), Robert C. Baughman, John M. Baughman (Tiffany), and daughter, Melinda A. Bryan (Michael). Grandchildren Quinton, Tate, Calvin, Taylor, Shelby, Payton, and Nora, brought special moments of joy.
Jack’s many talents included his gift of music. He taught school music classes, directed church choirs over a span of many years, and sang in choirs in his rich baritone/bass voice. Another ‘Jack Bragg-ism’ was his love of cooking and entertaining. He loved being surrounded by family, friends, and neighbors in celebration of all the special moments in life. When Jack wasn’t manning the grill, he was casting his line into the water or spending his retirement days volunteering.
As a dedicated employee of AT&T, Indiana Bell, and Taylored Systems, Jack and his colleagues kept people connected. He enjoyed interacting with his business leaders, mentoring teammates, and serving his customers.
He shared many adventures (over 40 years) with the CMATs (”Can’t Miss A Thing”), who managed to celebrate any and every excuse to gather together.
Jack’s wife, Diane, got to come along on this great-adventure—what a blessing!
Calling will be held at St. Luke’s UMC, 100 W. 86th St., Indianapolis, IN 46260 on Wednesday, March 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. His Celebration of Life will begin at 1:30 p.m.
