It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack A. Clark, of Indianapolis, on December 3rd, 2025. He was born September 29th, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Sidney and Alice (McMechan) Clark.
Jack graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1960 and was married to Shirley A. (Darnell) Clark in 1963. He was a U.S Army and Reserve veteran from 1960 to 1966. Jack worked for Country Mark Corp. for 36 years in the Petroleum Department and later in Farm Supplies.
When it came to sports, Jack was Indy's #1 fan--from the Pacers to the Fever, and to the Colts, Jack and Shirley could be found in the bleachers, repping their Hoosier pride.
More than anything, Jack is spoken fondly of for being a family man. He loved his family more than anything, and that love was returned in bounty.
Jack is survived by his beautiful wife, Shirley; Grandchildren Brittney Miller, Kristin Ramirez, Jacob Clark (wife Erin), Casey Clark, Rachel Hill (husband Jonathan), Kayley Clark; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Donna and Judy; and his son Steven.
