J.T. Liles

~J.T. Liles, 82, Martinsville passed away July 17, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospice. He was born October 26, 1929 in Arkansas the son of John and Sophia (Chandler) Harper. J.T. was a bridge contractor owner and operator of J.T. Liles Inc. for 37 years retiring in 1992. He was a member of Shriner's, Scottish Rite and Bainbridge Masonic Lodge. He attended Salem Park Church. J.T. is survived by his wife, Zenobia; sons, Jay T. Liles Jr. and Ronald Newkirk; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, John H. Liles Jr.; sisters, Faye Ellen Walls, Clara Hollingsworth and Lena Liles and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Richard Liles; brothers, Jesse, Albert and Carnell Liles and sisters, Fardeen Ward, Esteen Enos and Irene Brewer. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, with visitation from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday, July 20, 2012 and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
