J. Robert Kemper II 49, of Brownsburg, passed away September 22, 2013. He was born February 24, 1964 to Pamelia A. (McClain) and James R. Kemper. Bob was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School and the University of Cincinnati and worked as a project coordinator and engineering designer for DEEM Mechanical and Electrical Company for three years. He also worked for Applied Engineering, Myler Church Building Systems and Gibraltar Mausoleum Corporation. Bob was an avid billiards player and a lifetime member of the American Poolplayers Association where he competed in several national tournaments. He was a great fan of the Indianapolis Colts and a proud season ticket holder. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jodi, his parents, his brothers William (Kim) and John (Kristi) Kemper. He is also survived by aunts Marnie (Wayne) Inman, Anne Bickel and Patti Kuebler; uncles Jim McClain and Paul (Mary) McClain and many loving cousins; mother-in-law Sandra Koehl; sisters-in-law Fran Rushing, Jean Brown, Connie Stong, Katie Lyons and Tami Koehl; brothers-in-law Mark, James and Nick Koehl; and 23 nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28 at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church 1827 Kessler Blvd E Dr. with a Mass of Christian burial following at 11:00 AM. Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
