Irvin C. Adams
89, of Avon, died June 14, 2016. Irvin was born July 24, 1926 in Lebanon, IN to the late Orville and Grace (Reddick) Adams. Irvin served his country during World War II in the US Navy. He worked as a truck driver for Turner Trucking for 38 years, before retirement. He was member of the Teamsters Local #135 and the Lynhurst Masonic Lodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elnora (Germain) Adams, a sister Ileene Miller and 4 grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory; a daughter Brenda (Tom) Whitsett; a son Michael (Kathy) Adams; sisters Betty Cox, Barbara Endsley; a brother Allan Adams; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Floral Park, with services Saturday at 10am in the funeral center. Entombment will follow the services in Floral Park Cemetery.
