Irene Smith

75, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 17,2015. She was born on March 26, 1940 in London, Kentucky to the late Roy and Myrtle Witt. Irene worked at Walmart for the last 16 years; started off in the deli and currently was a door greeter. She was very family oriented and will begreatly missed. Irene is preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Ruby Witt ,Johnney Witt, John Witt, Jewell Hodge, daughter, Debbie L. Bryan and husband,James Calvin Smith. She is survived by her children; Donna (David), Brenda,James, Gene, Samuel (Kelly), Sheila (Kevin), Michael, siblings; Nancy, James(Darlene), Mary (Frank), 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 4 p.m. 9 p.m., at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled on Thursday, October 22, 2015, 11:00a.m.
