Irene Lucille Burchett

Irene L. Burchett Age 79, of Indianapolis and Scottsville, KY, passed away August 2, 2013 in Dallas, Georgia. She was born December 14, 1933 in Henryville, Indiana to Tom and Olive"Ollie" Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Burchett and son, Joe Burchett. Survivors include her daughter, Janice(Gary) Ranger, sons, Randy Lee Burchett, Steven(Jennifer) Burchett, and James Burchett; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and sisters, Edna Schrougham and Lil Brock. Irene was the owner of a dry cleaning business with her husband in Indianapolis for many years. She was a Christian and Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed quilting and playing Euchre. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 12-2 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street.
