Irene Cheatham

Irene Cheatham, age 85, of Indianapolis, passed away December 31, 2017. Irene was born in Manchester, KY on September 9, 1932 to parents, Orbin Smith and Nora (White) Parker.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence R. Cheatham; son, James Edward White; and sister, Willie Jean West.  She is survived by her daughters, Geraldine Patterson (Ron) of Hamilton, OH, Betty Foster (Roger) of Indianapolis, IN, Theresa Mowery (Bob) of Indianapolis, IN, and Linda Little (Tim) of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren: Bobbie Jean Anderson, Jerry Barnett (Misty), David Patterson, Sandra Melling (Steven), Jeffrey Edwards (Diane), Keith Jennings (Ashley), and Steven Jennings (Adrienne); and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 12pm until 2pm on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2pm. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
