Ingeborg Damm Wellstein

Ingeborg Damm Wellstein, 82 of Carmel, IN passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025. Ingeborg was born June 16, 1943 in Mexico City, Mexico to the late Alfonso and Liselotte Villarreal. She was a graduate of Colegio Aleman “Alexander von Humboldt” and earned her master’s degree from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.

Ingeborg was a psychologist. She retired from the County of Waukesha Wisconsin.

Private family services will be held.

Ingeborg was the widow of Frank Wellstein. She is survived by her daughter, Ana (husband, Chris) Bering; grandson, Jace Bering; son Albert Wellstein; daughter Linda Wellstein; son Larry (wife, Kim) Wellstein; son Carl (wife, Leslie) Wellstein; son John (wife, Theresa) Wellstein; and daughter Alisa (husband, Mike) Ackerman.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County or the Arbor Day Foundation.
