Imogene Dalton

Imogene Barton Dalton, 90, Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord August 29, 2014. Imogene was born in Jasonville, IN to Elmer and Helen Barton on April 26, 1924. She retired from General Motors after 25 years of service. She married her husband of 44 years on March 25, 1945, Robert A. Dalton, who precedes her in death. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Imogene is also preceded in death by her parents, and brother, James E. Barton. Survivors include children, Sharon (Ronald) Wilson, Linda (Larry) McCullough, J.R. (Bobby) Dalton, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Gene (Doris) Dalton, sisters-in-law, Virginia Dalton, Ruby Barton, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Dalton's Food Pantry.
