Ima Sue Asher

Ima Sue Asher, 68 of Indianapolis, IN passed away January 24, 2012. She was born on February 20, 1943 in London, KY. The daughter of Leonard and Gemima (Gilbert) Asher. Sue had worked at RCA and retired from the Salvation Army as a secretary. Survivors: 2 brothers, Leonard and J.B. "Jake" Asher; 3 sisters, Genetta P. Dye, Velma Asher Hale and Betty Asher Allen and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, General Samuel Asher; six sisters, Ruby Swider, Martha May, Mary McColly, Stella Philpot and Sophia Shinkle. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00pm Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan - Memorial Park 9350 E. Washington Street. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Friday, January 27, 2012 at the funeral center with Father John Mung officiating. Burial, Memorial Park Cemetery.
