Ima 'Chris' Clark

October 11, 1933 — September 27, 2011

On Tuesday evening, September 27th, 2011 at 10:45 pm Our Heavenly Father sent a beautiful angel by and carried Ima "Chris" Christine Stinson Clark Home to be forever with her Lord and Master. Chris Clark, 1st child of Oakley Paul and Ima Cola Dean Crawford Stinson Was born on a beautiful day, October 11, 1933. On September 17th, 1949 she was wed to James Davidson "Jimmy" Clark and to this union was born four children, William Davidson Clark, Shana Sue Clark Coats, Michael James Clark and Paul Anthony Clark. Mrs. Clark was also survived by 2 daughter-in-laws, Sandra Clark and Billi Jo Clark, 1 brother, Paul Stinson, 2 sisters, Pauletta Bawner and Donna Anderson. She had 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren plus 2 on the way and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Chris was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy, her Mother and Father and 2 sisters, Jean and Helen. The person we all knew as Chris was a warm, loving, gentle soul who was also known as Mom and Nana to more than her children and grandchildren. Most of the kids in the neighborhood often saw her that way also. She fed them when they were hungry, hugged them when they needed hugged, scolded them when they needed scolding and let them sleepover more times than we can count. Her house was always full and a lot of love and laughter will be held in the walls of her home she lived in for 45 years forever. Mom was a quiet spoken, God loving person and inside that small frail body lived the heart of a fighter with the strength of a lion. She was her happiest when she had all her family around her and when she was helping someone. We will always look up to her and can only hope to be half the parent, grandmother, and friend that she was to all of us. As she is put to rest today we will always love her and miss her deeply in our hearts forever! You are invited to go to the Guest Book page to pass along your personal message or tell a story. Sincerely, -Your friends at Flanner and Buchanan
