Hubert Henry Hampton

Hubert H. Hampton, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016. He was born on Dec. 31, 1933 in Letcher County, KY as one of nine children born to Henry and Arminta (Witt) Hampton. He attended Eubank H.S. in Eubank, KY. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 32 years, retiring in 1990. He worked on the Set-Up and Operate Machine, and was the operator of the Transfer Machine. He also attended Old Bethel UMC. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Harrell) Freeman Witte Hampton; son, Michael (Carla) Hampton; granddaughters, Emily (Jason) Nye and Anna (Mike) Phelps; 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 4-7pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10am, also at the funeral home.
