Huaian Li

Huaian Li, aged 102 of Carmel, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.  Huaian was born on September 10, 1920, in China’s Jiangsu Province to the late LI Zhuoru and LI Tan Shi.  She was the beloved matriarch whose strength and resilience guided her family through war, revolution, and famine; whose unfailing work ethic was an example to all; and whose kindness and grace reached so many in the community.

Huaian was the widow of LIU Zhonghua.  She is survived by her children, Lian Liu (wife, Minjuan Chen), Xiangping Liu (husband, Youfang Pan), Xiangzhi Liu; grandchildren, Jennifer Pan, Meinan Liu, Hanzi Shao; great grandchildren, Avery and Ari Chung.

Family and friends are invited to visit Flanner Buchanan-Carmel from 8:30 am to 10:00 am on Saturday, September 24, 2022 for the viewing.  Memorial services will follow at 10:30 am at the Chinese Community Church of Indianapolis 3405 E. 116^th St Carmel, IN.
