Howard J. Sibley

Howard J. Sibley, Jr., 85, of New Palestine, Indiana, joined our Lord and Savior on Friday, January 19, 2024, peacefully at his home.

How was born on November 19, 1938, to Howard and Faye (Case) Sibley in Wichita, Kansas. After Howard graduated from Emerrich Manual High school, he joined the United States Army, and went on to study at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Howard's long standing career was as a computer programmer and project leader at Indiana National Bank. Howard later retired from the National bank of Detroit.

In 1970, Howard met and married Connie in Indianapolis, Indiana, and at the time of his heavenly graduation they were married 53 years. 

He truly enjoyed developing his friends with his brothers in Christ at the weekly men's bible studies groups. He also enjoyed spending his time bowling, golfing, and playing pool with his friends. 

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Faye Sibley.

He is survived by his children, Doug Sibley (Susan), Jeff Sibley (Nancy), Steve Sibley (Teena), Wendy Pennington (Tony), and Tammy Bullock (Tim); as well as by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East from 1 pm - 3 pm with funeral services following at 3 pm. Burial will follow immediately after at Washington Park East Cemetery.
