Howard D. Haley

Howard D. Haley, 90, of Speedway, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014. He was born on December 31, 1923 in Goodlettsville, TN to Albert D. and Mary Ola (Lee) Haley. Howard was a World War II veteran as a member of the Coast Guard. He retired after 37 years of service from Indiana Bell. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda J. Haley. He is survived by his children, John (Linda) Haley, LaRue (Bobby) Snyder, Rick (Teresa) Haley; grandchildren, Heather, Kara, Erik, Rick, and Jake and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Howard will be held at Flanner and Buchanan—Speedway on Tuesday August 26, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior to the services.
