Hope Sutliffe Wilkinson

Hope Sutliffe Wilkinson, 95, of Fishers, Indiana gracefully and peacefully went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 15, 2023. She was born and raised in Somerset, PA. Hope graduated from Somerset High School in 1946 and then attended and graduated from Hood College in Fredrick, MD in 1950. She later met her future husband, John R. Wilkinson through family relatives and married in 1951. Hope led a busy life as a mother of 3, a substitute teacher in the Lawrence School District, a volunteer at Community Hospital North for 20 years, a member of the D.A.R Forbes Chapter, a member of the Mud Creek Players, and most importantly a Deacon and Elder at Faith Presbyterian Church.

Hope was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Wilkinson; her parents, Oscar and Hope Sutliffe; and several aunts and uncles.  Left behind to cherish her memory are daughters: Nancy (Rob) Larson, Barbara (Keith) Hybarger, Susan (Mark) Duncan; 2 grandchildren; and many lifelong cherished friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00am September 27, 2023, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 8170 Hague Rd, Indianapolis. Visitation will begin there at 9:00am. She requested no black clothing to be worn at her services. Online condolence may be shared at www.flannerbuchanan.com.
