Hildreth N. Baker

87, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 18, 2016. Hildreth was born on November 8, 1928 in Lafayette, Tennessee to the late Herschel and Elsie (Hire) Jenkins. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she was a member of the Seerley Creek Christian Church and Millersville Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest L. Baker; a son Joseph Edward Baker; and siblings Bill Jenkins, Don Jenkins, Harold Jenkins, Kate Simpson and Carolyn Winthrop. She is survived by daughters Patricia (Michael) Puckett, Linda (Roger) Brummett, Susie Embry, son in law Larry M. Allen, sisters Peggy Van Blaricum, Jean Carter, Wanda Stout, Sandy Rhudy, 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday Oct. 21st from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Decatur, with services Saturday Oct. 22nd at 10am in the funeral center.
