Hermina J Farkas Hruban
95, of Nashville, died August 29, 2015. Hermina was born on July 9, 1920 in Indianapolis to the late Alexander and Barbara (Adam) Farkas. Hermina worked for Allisons as a Rosie Riveter helping with the war efforts during World War II. She also worked as a floral designer for Keefer Florist for many years and was known as the "Flower Lady" for her beautiful flower gardens, often wining gardening contests. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and helping special needs children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Barbara Schmink, Julianna Farkas, brothers Blane, Steve, Alex and her husband Joseph J. Hruban. She is survived by her sons Ron (Angela) Hruban, Joe Hruban, 4 grandchildren Diana, Anthony, Sean, Daniel and 5 great grandchildren Maverick, Isabel, Vanessa, Evan and Parker. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12pm-2pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Entombment will follow the visitation in Floral Park Cemetery.
