Herman "Jack" Davenport
83, of Indianapolis, died on October 29, 2014. He retired as a Military Policeman in the U.S. Air Force after serving for over 20 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church, loved old cars and collected model cars.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Ora Lee Davenport; his loving wife, Ruth; his daughter, Caroline Davenport; and his sister, Geneva Crook. Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughters, Julia (Mick) Gorman and Charlette (Pepe) Davenport; sisters, Thelma (Robert) Craig, and Gladys Maynard; brother-in-law, Rev. Samuel (Pauline) Condon; sister-in-law, Esther (Virgil) Spurgin; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
